The past few years have been a whirlwind — full of joy, stress, transition, heartbreak, love, and so much gratitude. And now, with Patricia Street Deli in its new home, it feels like the right moment to pause and celebrate.\n\nIt was really important to Glen that this year’s birthday be shared with someone who has been part of his life for decades — his dear friend Cathy.\n\nGlen and Cathy have known each other for nearly 30 years. Their birthdays fall just two days apart, and over the years they’ve celebrated many of them side by side. Life has taken both of them through their fair share of highs and hardships, and through it all their friendship has remained steady.\n\nMany of you will know Cathy from her years as a nurse and as the General Manager at Tekarra Lodge. She is one of those rare people — kind, generous, and deeply woven into the fabric of her community.\n\nFor many years Cathy and Brian lived just two doors down from Wendy and Glen in Jasper, and their son Ryan worked at the deli back in the day. Their lives have been intertwined for a long time, and they’ve all walked through a lot together.
