From incredible arrangements of high tempo, blistering, bebop to the lush ballads of “Charlie Parker with strings”, this show has something for every music lover. This project is supported by the Edmonton Arts council, the City of Edmonton, the Edmonton Downtown Business Association and the Alberta Government through the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.\nThe Don Berner Big Band is the city of Edmonton’s flagship large jazz ensemble. An Edmonton jazz favourite for over a decade, the Don Berner Big Band became the first professional large jazz ensemble in Edmonton to have a fully programmed concert season in 2021.
