Now he wants to impart some of that wisdom.\n\nPearson dons the moniker of Lucky, the owner and proprietor of the biggest and best casino around. He’s looking to impart upon us, the fortunate audience he cares so much about, the rules of the casino and gambling game he’s learned over a lifetime.\n\nThose rules are familiar to anyone who has spent any time learning about the legalized (and sometimes illegal) gambling industry: 1) The House always wins, 2) Build your own house, 3) Know whose house you’re playing in. What he doesn’t say: if you can’t spot the sucker, it’s probably you.\n\nBut Lucky is less about the rules of owning a casino and more about letting Pearson play with our emotions through magic. He’s got a few tricks he’s going to show off, including some crowd work, though I won’t get into the specifics here. I’m not going to ruin all of the mystery.\n\nI had hoped for a few more tricks, maybe an extra trick or two from the man who obviously has something up his sleeve.
