Edmonton-based InFocus Photo Exhibit and Awards is gearing up for its 13th annual showcase of contemporary photography. Curated with care and intention, the exhibit highlights voices and perspectives that might otherwise go unseen, reinforcing the role of photography as both an artistic pursuit and a tool for societal commentary and change.
This year, InFocus Photo Exhibit & Awards welcomes submissions for a special open-theme exhibit. They invite local and international photographers to submit their favorite, most creative photographs for the opportunity to be a part of this special annual exhibition, presented during Exposure Photography Festival.

Theme: Anything Goes. From planes, trains and automobiles, to landscapes, macro photography, and travel; from abstract, fine art, and studio images to photojournalism, editorial, and advertising; from portraits and documentary to animals, dioramas, and conceptual work—AND everything in between. Any subject matter. Any style. Any genre of photography. Literally, “Anything Goes”... well, almost anything!
InFocus Photo Exhibit was founded by Edmontonians Aaron Chute and Alexis Marie Chute in 2014. The mission of InFocus Photo Exhibit is to promote & exhibit innovative, thoughtful, and productive photography created by contemporary image-makers.
The exhibition will take place February, March, and April 2027 at Wild Skies Gallery in Edmonton, the Town of Stony Plain Office, and the Red Brick Common Public Art Gallery in Stony Plain.
